It seems unbelievable how many beautiful belts our foremothers have been able to invent! Belt weaving is one of the heritage skills of our people - it is worth preserving and passing on. Piia Rand has devoted a large part of her free time to the study of belts and now offers you the wisdom of belt weaving. The book contains detailed instructions for weaving a letter belt on belt axes, using a pin and holding the thread around the body, and two belt patterns from each Estonian parish with a photo and legend. If belt weaving is not planned, you can knit or embroider the beautiful belts of your hometown, for example, on needles. Belt patterns are also great for this.
The book is published in cooperation with the Estonian National Museum. Revised and Revised Edition.
